What's up with these people who complain that the Tarzan/Jane relationship

is a SEXIST one?!? God, people! They're just CHARACTERS, for cryin' out loud!

Apparently, they're making a fuzz about how Tarzan says "Me Tarzan, you Jane."
They say, when "translated" into plain English, it sounds more like, "I'm the boss, YOU'RE my LITTLE WOMAN."
 
How about when they tried to ban Tom and Jerry for being too violent for children? jeeeeeez!
 
Are some people trying to ban it?!!! lol! If we tried to prevent ALL work of art that was sexist, pretty much all books would be banned!!!

Edit: what? "Me Tarzan, you Jane" ONLY means "I'm Tarzan, and you're Jane (nice to meet you)". I think some people have way too much free time!!!
 
I think it's the IDEA of it, not the actual relationship, much like the word 'Barbie' has taken on a meaning of its own, despite the fact that a Barbie is but a mere hunk of plastic in semi-fashionable clothes. I don't know that it's sexist. It's gross and pathetic, but if that's what both people want, then it's not really sexist.
