Whats up with the sex talk?!?

For starters, I am 13, and not socially average. I notice, that 99% of the kids I know, talk about sex as if it is the only thing they know. from ages 7-15, 99% of the kids in those ages groups talk about that. It is disgusting and i don't get about 80% of what the are talking about. Example: I am going to shove my stick up your box! Don't ask, i have no clue what that means, but why, i only have 2 friends i can talk to without hearing that, obviously they aren't the people to hang around if they talk like that.

Hey, I'm not gonna lie, I'm sixteen and sexually active. People say I'm too young and to be honest, yeah I am. But this is the age when everyone is horny all the time, and it is always a fallback topic. Now while I don't mind the occasional funny sex related comment, it does get annoying when all someone can talk about is "shoveing their stick in your box". Good friends should be the ones who can talk about lots of things, and respect you if you don't want to disscuss that.

That's normal talk with almost all kids... If I don't know what my friends are talking about I ask them

It's just what happens when they get that age. Sex becomes a whole new idea so they talk about it as much as possible. Not to worry, it becomes less of a problem once you get into high school and by then you will probably just find it funny.

Don't stress out, there will be plenty of time for sticks and boxes when you're married. Until then, just focus on college.
