What's up with the media comparing Obama to FDR and Lincoln?

before he has even been in office one day? always knew the media was in the tank for him but aren't they going over the top calling him a great president before he has even governed one day?
 
many have been touting how the media has completely lost any grasp

on reality, and this further makes the case!
 
Kinda the same thing with all these nobs saying he should be impeached before he's been sworn in don't you think?
 
The media are just continuing to market the guy as they have all along. It has nothing to do with news or journalism.
 
Simple. Money. I think it's ABC that's putting out a DVD on Obama, due out after January 20th. No big surprise. They never asked him any tough questions, or even cared about his questionalble associations.

Hell, they even have gold commemorative coins - in color- coming out for him!

All hail the Messiah! Given the opportunity, I'm sure they'd even kiss his ring!
 
The media helped him get elected. They have a hard-on for him and I think most are a bunch of huge Douche BAGS
 
I think the comparisons are based on the circumstances in the world as they took office, not that he is a great president. Lincoln entered office with two states already seceded, FDR had a depression and a looming war in Europe. Both are remembered as extraordinary presidents for the decisions they made in such turmoil. Obama enters office with the worst economy we hav seen since the depression. It remains to be seen if he can pull it off too.
 
It's a mere comparison no need to get so worked up over it.

It's just like people assuming he's going to fail or make this country disastrous and he hasn't even served one day. The media is doing this because it's a history in the making.
