What's up with "Made in Finland" phones?

Well, think about it for a sec ...

Seeing as how Nokia is based in Finland, then it would make sense that if they are manufacturing the phones there then they are likely to be best. It's like any other product that is manufactured from whence it came. Usually the build quality is up to snuff since it's coming from its original home.
 
well I'll be! Just checked my box and your right....no wonder I guess that proves it then...Finland Made is by far superior. I never looked and just assumed it was made "elsewhere". I need to take apoo...i mean go to espoo!
 
i dont have it anymore, but nokia will send me back a production model to keep...it was suppose to be last week and now its delayed.
 
mine doesn't say where it is made from, it only says Made by Nokia, i don't see any China, HK , or Finland. Anyone knows why??
 
I'm not arguing against Bush being a monkey. He is quite below that and that's an insult to simians.

But if its not made in Finland, its obviously made somewhere else. You shouldn't be calling these hard working people monkeys.

I trust Nokia to hire qualified workers, no matter where on the planet they may live.
 
Ok just so I am clear, notice that I used words that suggest that these are not facts. I don't know for sure if this is true or not, BUT I do know that my E61 is bulletproof (Made in Finland). My N73 was made wherever and I really don't have any complaints either. I have read here that a lot of N73s made elsewhere are "creaky" (as is mine) though this is not enough of a reason to say that it is sub-standard. I love both of my Nokia devices equally and in my heart I believe that it really doesn't matter where they are made, as long as they are genuine Nokia product.

I must admit though that when I do purchase my next Nokia device it must be made by those cute blondes ... but you must take into account that I am a hardcore fanboy.
 
hmm..that's true..but do you know what i mean when i ask if it's made in japan..cause you know products made in japan are top quality too..so i understand why made in finland is good..but i'm more concern with other countries making these products now..
