Whats this weird lump that appears near to my shoulder blade.?

I have a lump that has appeared & then disappears after a few days. Its happened 3 times over the last year.
Its near my shoulder blade, it swells up, is very tender & goes a bit like a bruise.
I have tried attacking it, thinking maybe it was a spot or something... but it never seems to be anything but a tender lump.
When I say a lump, i dont mean a little thing.... i actually mean its quite large.. especially when its very swollen.... almost an inch in diameter & can be seen when on side profile in a mirror.
After a day or 2 the swelling goes down & it goes away, altho I have been left with a dry patch that is slightly darker.

I wouldnt worry so much if it hadnt happened a few times now.
 
Don't ask medical questions on here.
Some idiot will likely tell you that you have
some dangerous desease swine flu or something. the only way
to know anything for certain is to go see you own doctor,
even a doctor on here would not be able to give a proper
diagnosis without examining you and having your medical background.
