I can't recall if it's a full length movie or just a short, but it began with a a shot of a thunderstorm above an empty road. Lightning hit the road and out of it came a futuristic looking car with a driver inside wearing a helmet.
Later on, some guy wants to race him in a muscle car. They go head to head before the futuristic car pull away out of sight. The human driver keeps going and sees the lightning car parked in the middle of the road, with the driver leaning against it.
I think they crash, but the futuristic car and driver come back together and disappear.
