Hi, its my first posting on here, and I hope someone can help.
I've been suffering from a severe case of folliculitis, but this has been taken care of thanks to a course of Flucloxacillin, Prednisone, but I'm left with a horrible pen line rash with red raised spots in the fold of my arms (other side to elbow - not sure what the correct medical term).
Also, I had a blood test done as well and its confirmed I have an allergy to something, but that is yet to be resolved, and work is in progress (seems to be something in the house) This allergy is being controlled by the Prednisone, Loratadine and Piriton.
My question is what is this rash on my underarm? Heres a pic:

My doc has said it will disappear by itself in a few weeks, but that was a month ago, but it hasn't subsided and some days, its very red and angry. I've tried prescribed anti-bacterial wash, aqueous cream and E45. The anti-bacterial wash made it worse so stopped using that and both the creams have no effect.
I wash in plain warm water only, don't use any soaps, I've tried to avoid sweating, but this rash wont go away. I'm also getting the same thing in the skin folds of the neck especially around the laryngeal prominence (Adams apple) and my neck is itchy sometimes and slighly reddish.
Is there any creams I can try? My doc is insisting it will subside by itself, but I'm looking for confirmation.
