What's the worst film ever made?

There have been some dire films made through the years. But the very worst film I've ever seen (in terms of script, story, acting) without doubt, is 'The Tommy Steele Story'. It's SO bad that I make a point of watching it when it turns up in the afternoon or middle of the night, just for a laugh. It was made just after he became famous, probably no-one had heard of him then, it's that old. It starred none other than ........ Tommy Steele, playing himself. It's true cringeworthy stuff.
 
I don't know about the worst film EVER made but I would like Cameron Diaz to return two hours of my life to me - the 2 hours I spent watching the pile of dog poo known as THE SWEETEST THING.

A rom-com which was neither romantic nor comedic. It was the unfunniest, most vile, most pointless, most embarrassing heap of tosh I've seen in many years.
The cinema was stunned into silence at the sheer awfulness of it, not a single 'joke' got so much as a titter.

If I hadn't been sitting between two very large people (I'm tiny) I would have walked out of the cinema and demanded my money back even though I hadn't paid for a ticket.

I haven't seen the remake of the Wicker Man so I don't know what it was like. The original was horrible but very good. Did the remake lack the same atmosphere or what?
 
For me:

Nightbreed - an old movie but I was pretty angry that I spent time in the cinema.
The Village - a pile of poo, it can be joined by Unbreakable.
Best Defense - they made out that Eddie Murphy was in the movie (he was for about 5 mins) another old shite movie
Also I hate Unleashed but that's because my father in law makes me watch it daily.

However I have to defend Dirty Dancing - it's my age, I love that movie and will make no apologies for it. :)
