The worst cinema I have ever been to is the UGC in the Don Valley district of Sheffield.
The film kept cutting out loaRAB of times and generally awful.

Worst cinema was probably an old one in Redditch, that has long since closed down. It was smelly, dirty and I swear I saw a roddent of some sort running across the floor.

However, I was about nine at the time, so it was probably the best cinema I'd been to at the time ;) (nothing's cooler than a flea-pit when you're nine :D)

Went to Carrickfergus cinema in NI last year. Crowd of young teens running amok. Staff nowhere to be seen. Had to walk out! Can't even remember what the film was called. Never again!!!

UGC Arcadian, near China Town in Birmingham.

No Heat in an October evening, and was bloody freezing, Poor lighting, too many people dossing about (mainy teenagers taking shots of the film with their phones).

This was to see Holes. The Cinema has since closed.

Odeons in general are quite poor. They always make them look swish on the outside so you're tempted to buy a ticket, then once you get inside you remember how awful they are. And expensive.

The Alexandra in Newton Abbot is just terriable!

The picture and sound quality make it feel like your watching a dodgy internet download!

The seats are the same as the ones during the war, and the whole room is filled with a brown coloured curtin style decoration!

......needles to say i always go to Paignton cinema!

worst cinema i've ever visited is the UCI in Derby, the film is always on an angle as if the projectionist is pissed the dobly digital surround very rarely is surround usually just mono and the screen is never the right aspect ratio as you can see 2.35:1 films with the edges being projected onto the walls and white empty spaces at the top and bottom of the screen instead of being cropped off by a curtain/screen

There's a cinema in Walsall which I can't stand...
Has my biggest hate in a cinema...

Some time in the 80's, some idiot cinema designer thought it would be a really sensible to have all the seats on one level (well... slight slope, but not so you'd notice!)... How dumb is that! Thankfully, they seem to grown out of it, and gone back to designing them so you can actually see over the person in front!

UCI in Swansea is a pretty dire Cinema, especially when compared to the Apollo Cinema in Port Talbot and the Odeon at McArthur Glenn.
