When I went to Russia a few years ago my host family forced me to eat caviar  It was weird the way they prepared it, it was a piece of bread with a layer of butter about a quarter of an inch thick, and then a big layer of caviar. I couldn't even swallow one bite.

I'm french so I love snails and frogs, which are not weird for me  But the weirdest thing I ate is "crosne", I don't know the english for that. They look like worms so I was unable to eat

.... Like a little "tip of a pencil" eraser or one of those big "size of a Tic Tac box" erasers? (Is curious)

Actually, toss in some green onions and soy sauce and it's great. Usually, tofu is supposed to absorb.

Sardines is probably the weirdest thing I ate and actually liked. Dog biscuits is another weird thing (it was a dare), blech....

Ewwww! Those are lots of nasty things I wouldn't want to eat!

I'm a vegetarian so I've just eaten odd leaves and such. Oh, and I've had lemonade made from sumac berries (not the poison kind of sumac, though).

A Japanese food...something long, slippery and wet, I almost cried as I tried so hard to swallow it.

Octopus in spain. Nice in a red wine and boiled. And can I say tofu? It's so wierd. It's bland and what can you eat with it.

Really? I always thought it was the red chili peppers that give you that sort of kick.
