what's the treatment for a 'frozen shoulder' and no wisecracks please, it...

I had the same thing and was helped by steroid injections from my GP (which are quite painful) and by physiotherapy.

If you google either frozen shoulder or adhesive capsulitis you should get some good information.

i had a frozen shoulder. i had fallen on ice 6 yrs earlier & in that time lost gradual use of right arm, couldn't move it very well & what little it did hurt like heck. they did surgery to repair that old damage which included a broken bone chip & a muscle with a big hole in it. a few months later, the shoulder was freezing up again & they put me back in hosp & under general anesthesia, they did what they called a "manipulation". they took my arm through a whole range of motion & broke it free of all the material holding up progress. i started physical therapy while still groggy & now have full use of it. it's now been several years since all that & i'm still fine. sounds like you need to see the doc & find out what it will take to loosen up that shoulder. don't blow it off. this won't get better on its own.
