whats the red stuff coming out of my Large Oscar fish?

I have a rather large Oscar fish, and we noticed yesterday that red fleshy type stuff is coming out from under him. it looks like a cut, but theres nothing in the tank that could have cut him in anyway. What could it be??? it almost looks like his insides are trying to come out from where he poops?

Any ideas??
