Not only is the sedan way uglier than the hatch, but it's way less practical as well. Why couldn't they just sell the hatchback here with smaller engines so as to create cheaper models? I've heard that the Mazda 3 is fun with a 1.6 liter engine. Although low on power, the engine loves to be revved.
What's the point of selling a sedan version in the US when it's not sold in any other market? Who wants a car that's less practical and less good looking than the real car?
i understand but why would anybody choose to have a less practical car? it's not like you're getting a sports car in return for your loss of practicality lol
