You can join any branch at 25.

Oldest for the army was 38 when I enlisted. Think it's 40 now.

Actually you can join at 145, in dog-years.

With prior service it was 42. For the first time it is probably much lower.

Army National Guard was 42, now it is 36 again because of being over-strengthed.
