What's the name of this film?

I saw a film when i was like 4, and it terrified me! But i can't remember the name :o can you guys help?

These are some of the things i remember:

It seemed to focus around a young blonde haired girl who wore geans - i remember her wearing geans specifically for some reaons :confused:

There was a scene were she was in a shop - and she stole something (It could have been the geans :D )

Then, she went onto a train. She seemed to be in her own room on the train - maybe she was a stowaway?

Anywho, a kind old lady who worked on the train seemed to befriend her.

Then - when the old lady went out of the room, loaRAB and loaRAB of spiders/insects jumped onto the girl - and her whole body was full of these locus things ..... then, the old woman came back in, screamed - and thats all i remember!

Can anyone help? I know i've been very vauge, but recently it's just been nagging me to find out! :D :)
 
I know! It's had quite an effect on me! lol like the dr who movie did but i've seen it since 1996 so its effect on my memory has lessoned.

Definatly wasn't the 1930's film - if my memory serves me right it looked like it was made in the late 80's/90's :)
 
I'm sorry, i don't know the film you are referring to, but there's one that's always bugged me...

It was a film set in Britain i think and it was a little village taken over by zombies.....

However, the only bit i remember is a bit where a guy with glasses jumps or is pushed of a cliff and as he falls down he cries out "MUMMY!"

I was very young at the time i saw it (should have been asleep but i was a rebel :o ) and ever since it's bugged me :(
 
You know I was searching for the name of a film for ages, I knew the cast and a basic plot outline. Has remembered it from when I was a kid. I asked my mum & dad about it a year ago and they said they had never watched it with me (I knew I'd watched it at home with them though). So I went and looked on imdb and what do ya know, non of those actors had been in a film together. I'd obviously dreamed it and remembered it a little too well. :o

However I'm sure your film is real! :D
 
This rings a bell with me.

Maybe a different film, but didn't the boy murder another child?
He ran to the cliff and slipped. His mother grabbed his hand but in dramatic film mode realised at that moment that this boy was a killer and let go of his hand.
As he dropped he shouted,"Mummy"
 
Im thinking of species aswell. The beginning part where i think the little girl was played by the blonde one from dawsons creek. She had stolen some clothes and was on a train then mutated or something and ate a train worker before turning into an older women?
 
Bad Taste was made in 1987 so you might be very right. I don't recall it being a comedy tho :o and i don't recall the aliens :o

But i'm gonna see if i can rent it to find out.
