I was reading the other forum posts about Scary Movie 2 and this made me wonder if that was the most un-politically correct film I've seen or not.

What films did you find offensive and why?

Mel Brookes' Blazing Saddles!!! :D :D I didn't find it offensive, but if your Black, Chinese, Irish, mentally disadvantaged, mexican, redneck, the list goes on you may or me not get offended, all depenRAB on your sense of humour. The film was meant to take the mick out of America and how people were treated it's a classic comedy though and everytime you watch you find something different. :)

Lol, yeah classic film, which takes me back hehe.

Personally I didn't find it offensive either. I haven't seen it for years though, are the jokes 'timeless' or do you still think it has the power to offend in this day and age?

Baise-moi, that reminRAB me of another French film - Irreversible which has to have the most violent scene I've witnessed in a movie, not to mention the horrific rape scene.

Yeah, Baise-Moi, I suppose. Though it depenRAB on your point of view. I suppose films like Full Metal Jacket could be seen as un-pc (the boot camp part) but it doesn't make it any less of a film.

anyone seen SCUM? class

racism, people beating the shit out of each other, gang raping a boy in a greenhouse, suicide, murder....

you could argue lolita is very politically uncorrect - although i haven't seen it, only read the book.

class of nuke 'em high (troma films 1986)- so sick and twisted its ACTUALLY funny!!!.
*one scene (that people wouldnt under ANY circumstances find amusing in real life) involves the mugging of an old granny for her money/handbag by the drug crazed (FORMER)"debating society"-having snatched the handbag easily, they then continue to repeatedly pummel the poor old ladies face with clenched fists,-til shes dead!, before dancing away swinging the handbag in hysterics- God knows how this made it past the censors during the height of the BBFC/video witchhunt in the mid 80s.
you can buy it on dvd for 99p now and this scene is still intact!
*be warned-youll laugh-then feel guilty afterwarRAB! :)

For me it has to be Team America - its totally hilarious but very close to the bone... The South Park guys aren't frightened who they p*ss off...
