What's the most difficult video game you ever played?

I'm talking about a video game that just get's under your skin everytime you lose. A video game that really got on your nerves. A video game that just made you want to whip the controller at the TV screen, LOL.
 
Touhou. That series defines Danmaku (Bullet Hell), I think.

I haven't even beat normal mode yet. XP
But I'm working on it! I'll do it if it kills me...

Although 'tis PC game, so no controller throwing.
