I'm wondering because I was thinking of reclassing and doing the cryptolinguist thing but there is no way I'm going to stay on active duty for another 5 years - with absolutely zero chance to go to college - in addition to the 2 years I already have remaining until my original ETS date. Then again I've heard the maximum someone can re-enlist for these days is 2 years so I'm interested in hearing some other opinions on this.
Basically the situation is this: I just turned 26, if I reclassed as a linguist would I be able to get out of the Army by the time I'm 30?
