whats the last five films you watched

1. The Sentinel - well-dressed, but low on plot
2. Severence - brit slasher flick - quite good fun
3. Look Both Ways - compellingly morbid Aussie art-house
4. A Scanner Darkly - over-hyped but looks great
5. The Notorious Bettie Page - porn biography

Downfall was indeed a German-made film. The actor who plays the bald army doctor is also appearing in Tom Cruise's film about the July 20th 1944 plot to kill Hitler.

Two interesting things about Downfall are the clips of Traudl talking that bookend the film and the bit before the end credits that say what happened to everyone

Bedazzled - It was okay although Liz Hurley's acting was appalling.
Hellboy - I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Down With Love - It wasn't funny, just silly and the 'twist' at the end didn't really work as it was too farfetched.
Midnight Express - I thought it was really good.
Batman - Probably my least favourite film of the Batman franchise.

X Files 2 - avoid even if you are a fan

The Dark Knight - fantastic

PS I Love You - made me weep nearly all the way through

21 - interesting

Penelope - heartwarming and enchanting

1. The Jacket - awesomely subversive thriller with Adrien Brody.

2. Mr & Mrs Smith - not nearly as shite as I expected!

3. Sahara - every bit as shite as I expected! Woeful.

4. Sky Captain & the World of Tomorrow - Could not get into this at all.
I tried twice and then gave up, but my teenage son rates it. He says it's like a comic book.

5. Trauma - Far fetched nonsense but quite engaging.

Love Sunny x :)
