whats the last five films you watched

Well, mine's quite a list:

1. The Departed (brilliant)
2. The Wicker Man (an abomination)
3. Rain Man (also brilliant)
4. Rules of Attraction (was good)
5. Glastonbury (best documentary EVER)

1 The lake house - not bad a good film to watch with a girlfriend ;)

2 300 - BRILLIANT

3 Ghost rider - better than i thought but a bit american cheese superhero sort of film

4 house of sand and fog - in my top 5 films of all time a must watch

5 Debbie does Dallas - Again :)

Slumdog Millionaire - I really enjoyed it, I thought it was well worth all the hype although I did prefer Trainspotting.
Doubt - I loved it, the 3 lead actors were superb.
Control - Again, I really enjoyed it. It held my full attention all the way through.
What's Eating Gilbert Grape - A brilliant performance by Leonardo DiCaprio but overall the film didn't interest me all that much.
Wrong Turn - Wasn't scary at all, although there was some unintentionally funny bits but most of it was cheesy.

Taken - I really enjoyed this film. Lots of action, although I did have to overlook a few things and convince myself it was a good thing to try and get the daughter back :D 8/10

Death Race: Enjoyed this too, more than I thought. Lots of action, decent plot 7/10

How to lose frienRAB and alienate people: Not bad, but I was disappointed. I normally love Simon Pegg and thought it would be a lot funnier from the trailers, it was ok, but nothing fantastic 5/10

What happens in Vegas: I've still got to watch the end of this, as fell asleep. But quite enjoyed it up till then, the sleeping bit wasn't a reflection of the film, more of the vino I'd had :o 6/10

The Golden Compass: I really couldn't get into this and ended up switching it off halfway through. Maybe I'm just too old to appreciate it 2/10

I Am Legend - 5/10
Mission: Impossible - 6/10
Year of The Dog - 7/10
Fantastic Four - 5/10
Sister Act 2: Back In... - 5/10

Bah! Been watching too much chrimbo-crud on the telly this past week...:(

Watched 30 Days Of Night a couple of weeks. Apart from the first half hour when there was a bunch of chavs making a load of noise a few rows in front of me I rather enjoyed it

Bonbon el Perro: moving gentle drama about a guy in Patagonia who acquires a pedigree dog, and it changes his life (for the better)
Herbie Rides again. A pleasant surprise, not least because of the wonderful soundtrack!
Two Brothers: Extremely unwise as my 7 year old daughter sobbed uncontrollably and had to be retrieved from the toilet with the constant refrain.. "It's not real its only a film!" However I thought it was very well done, in the vein of old Disney live action movies (remember Old Yeller)
The Choir: I loved this , it was a real feelgood film, the French really do these films so well.
Caught "Come back little Sheba" on Sky Cinema the other day. Absolutely blown away by the performances.

Capote - Really enjoyed it, can't wait to see the new Tobey Jones effort.
The Insider - Gripping Anti fag whistle blower flick
Hellboy - Not bad, but it was only a fiver
Glengarry Glen Ross - Money, money, money. Great film.
The Proposition - I wish there were more gritty westerns being made

1. White Christmas
2. The Hogfather
3. Miracle on 34th Street
4. Holiday Inn
5. Die Hard 2

More or less fits the season after all No. 5 is set at Christmas.

Pans Labyrinth
Night at the Museum
Brothers Grimm
The Hole
28 Weeks Later

All of which were really really good - thoroughly recommended. 28 Weeks Later probably goes in as the best film I've seen in years.
:)

At the cinema:

Harry Potter 5
Hairspray (2007)
Die Hard 4.0
Vacancy
Fantastic 4

On the telly:

10 Rillington Place
Get Real
Beautiful Thing
The Shining
Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer (dreadful film by the way)

The Omen (2006) - Parts of it were good but most of it was pretty unwatchable.
The Grudge - Unintentionally funny.
Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest - It took me about half an hour to get into it but once I was into it I thoroughly enjoyed it. It wasn't as good as the first film though.
Donnie Darko - Brilliant!
The Nightmare Before Christmas - I love it!
