Tideland (not finished it yet, but it's good)
Lady in the Water (disappointing)
Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (Love it!)
The Italian Machine (David Cronenberg short about motorbike enthusiasts - interesting if you're a DC fan - watch it on-line from link at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Cronenberg)
Mr Bean's Holiday (OK, but nothing special)
The Green Mile - Loved it! Withnail & I - I found it mildly amusing.
Pulp Fiction - Loved it!
Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels - It was good but the last half hour dragged on a bit.
Vera Drake - It was very good although I think it could have been a bit shorter.
Blood Diamond - 9/10, loved this, Dicaprio carries the whole film but he does it so well he should have got the Oscar imo.
The Departed - 9/10, brilliant until a rubbish ending spoiled it a bit.
Notes On A Scandal - 4/10, boring.
Childeren Of Men - 0/10, this is in the top ten worst films i've seen ever.
Last King Of Scotland - 8/10 - good not great, didn't live up to the hype.
the prestige - brill loved the ending
you've got mail - gf loves the film
fantastic four silver surfer - rubbish only just better than the first, not my choice
harry potter and the order of the phoenix - best harry potter film
die hard 4 - saw yesterday was great.
Yeah, Heat is an awsome film, even for a few minutes of screen time together it's a really powerful sceen, the tension betwwen them is SO obvious. Did you know there's talk of Heat 2? Exciting stuff!
To me Al Pacino is a star in anything, even his 5 minutes in that awful Gigli *lol*
Good choice with Insomnia, it's nice to see a cop film that doesn't involve lots of shooting, it's a great remake (whic doesn't happen very often) the cinematography in this movie is breath taking.
Have you seen Serpico?
No lie, I have EVERY single Al Pacino DVD movie apart from Scarecrow and Bobby Deerfield, both of which I should have next week.
Tried watching this three times this week on Premier but Sky have had the sound so grossly out of sync that I couldn't stand more than ten minutes of it. Hopefully they'll have rectified it when it goes out again after its Premier run.
A film I did see recently on Sky was Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang. What a little gem of a movie it is! 9 out of 10
Resident Evil - Rubbish.
Amelie - It was cute.
Only Yesterday - A very sweet film, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Silent Hill - ****ing shit.
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) - It was quite good, not as scary as I thought it would be.
