whats the last five films you watched

Brazil is the best film ever
Porco Rosso -- I never understood why he was a pig all I got from it was that he didn't die like everyone else so he was a pig but that makes no sense but then he was a pig

Jarhead
Clerks 2
The Aristocats
Sleeping beauty
The Little mermaid
I watched them with my niece although I think she wondered off at some point I forgot how much I loved these films I must of seen them hundreRAB of times when I was younger and I remember why now!

halloween(2007)-meh
superbad-not bad
balls of fury-ok comedy
ratatouille-best film I've seen this year
shoot em up-where's john woo when you need him

Shoot Em Up - Lots of unlikely action throughout. Great fun.
Hellboy 2 - Dissapointing. Loved the 1st film.
The Bourne Ultimatum - Totally removed from the book, but probably a much better film because of it.
Black Snake Moan - Better than I expected. Not a great Ricci (or Timberlake) fan but the girl done good in this. Great soundtrack.
Pirates of the Caribean: At World's End - Way to take a mediocre idea 2 films too far.

Not seen The Grudge.

I thought Juno was a hyped wag of bank.

Citizen Kane is great when you concentrate on some of the techniques used in filming and editing, that set the bar high for the next generation.

I've not seen Rear Window.

I stopped watching Ratatouille. It bored me. The Incredibles was alright, though.

1) 3 10 to Yuma - Probably one of the best westerns in the last decade.
2) Stardust - A lot better than I had imagine it to be.
3) Crank - Love this film, but I hope they don't ruin it with the sequel.
4) Saw IV - Not as good as the rest, but if you enjoyed the others it'll be right up your street
5) The Emperors New Groove - Hilarious, lol!

VALKYRIE - Tom Cruise & a cast of British & American actors playing Nazis that apparently speak with English and American accents... Riiiight then! 3/5
DEFIANCE - Daniel Craig leaRAB a band of Jewish Partisans against the German assault. Found this to be a very powerful and moving film. 5/5
THE DARK KNIGHT - I don't think I need to say anythin'... The best Batman to date. 5/5
THE CURSE OF THE GOLDEN FLOWER - China, Tang Dynasty, 10th Century. A story of an Emperor, A Betrayal, Love and Honor... A very striking film. 4/5
GOSFORD PARK - Can watch this time and time again, very well constructed film with a talented cast! 5/5

1. Memoirs of a Geisha
2. Die Hard 4.0
3. Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby
4. Spirited Away
5. Cabin Fever

The Shining - 10/10 - Great movie, can't believe it's taken me this long to watch it!

La Conseguenza del Amore - 7/10 - Not bad. My GF wanted to watch it.

Sunshine - 8/10 - A bit predictable in the end.

Buddha Collapsed out of Shame - 9/10 - Rather frightening in places. A great concept. Hana Makhmalbaf is going to be an outstanding director in years to come.

Elegy - 10/10 - A truly beautiful film. I loved the book (The Dying Animal - Philip Roth) and Kingsley's performance is oscar worthy.

edit: And I'm going to see 'The Wackness' tonight....should be good!

last five films:

- The Wizard of Oz (only because of the dorothy programme)

- Iron Man 2 (not as good as the first film)

- Avatar (great effects, but the other scenes wewre not great)

Hairspray - great, love it - 9/10

Green Mile - never cried so much at a film - 8/10

What Lies Beneath - okay, jumped at a few places - 6/10

The Devil's Rejects - won't watch it again - 5/10

World Trade Centre - loved it, one of my favourite films - 10/10

27 Dresses - I enjoyed it this light romantic comedy.
The Assination of Jessie James by the Coward Robert Forde - I really enjoyed this and thought Casey Afflick was brilliant.
About a Boy - Saw it on TV a few weeks ago and though not a great Hugh Grant fan thought this was and excellent film.
