whats the last five films you watched

-Hills Have Eyes-Enjoyable and disturbing at the same time
-The Forgotten-I Loved it, Loved the trailer when I first saw it but reviewers put me off it, was on sky the other night and I'm so glad I watched it, I thought it was great, My "Darkness Falls" of last year(ie film that is panned yet I can't find fault in lol)
-Monster House-Not the best kiRAB film, and I love KiRAB Films but there just wasnt much that happened in it
-Mystic River-Amazing thought it was great and was so happy when one of my two guesses at what happened was actually correct!
Election-Amazing film, Reece deserved her oscar for this film, so great and was only

The last four (to be awkward) were:

Right At Your Door - 6/10 - Struggled with a low budget, so therefore felt more like a theatre play than a film. The much-heralded twist ending is blatantly obvious and the reason for it isn't made clear enough. Not enough time is spent building up the characters, so we don't feel any sympathy for them. But generally it holRAB together quite well - a brave effort at taking on a massive subject without any money.
Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby - 8/10 - Very funny, possibly even better than Anchorman. Never a classic, but never pretenRAB to be.
You, Me and Dupree - 5/10 - Functional borderline chick flick. Embarassingly, you can see boom mikes in a scary amount of scenes.
Snakes on a Plane - 6/10 - Defies conventional marking as it's clearly farcical.

Hellraiser 2 (1987)
Sword of Sherwood Forest (1960)
Cromwell (1970)
Nicholas and Alexandria (1971)
Adios Sabata (1970)

(oh, and the last one, with Yul Brynner, was a hoot) :D

1. Cache - I love thought-provoking, artfully shot and understated films, but this is over-hyped, over-rated pseudo-intellectual fair.
2. Hostel - this didn't live up to expectations. Thought it copped out with the 'humour' and cheap tone of the first half. I may have been influenced by only just seeing...
3. Mean Creek - much more like it. Bloody marvellous, if deeply disturbing, stuff. Was wanting to hate this beforehand, but very pleasantly (?!) suprised.
4. United 93 - Paul Greengrass.
5. Revolver - avoided this for some time and regretted doing so as soon as I did.

Crank - highly enjoyable action film
Mr and Mrs Smith - fine Hollywood action/comedy
Pirates of the Caribbean 2 - ok, but the film dragged towarRAB the end
Cars - very poor
Ong Bak - excellent martial arts film from Thailand with some incredible fight scenes

It will be after tonight

Saw 111 (can't wait shhh)

Mean Girls (Borrowed eventually of younger sis. Had to see what Richard of BB meant regarding 'The Plastics'.

The Exorcism Of Emily Rose(scary)

Snakes On A Plane (yawn)

Night At The Museum (Great Fun)

Primal Fear : Not particularly filmic but held together with strong performances. The final twist was nice (if not unexpected) but revealed in over-blown fashion.

Hot Rod : A surprisingly good comedy with a great, if largely unknown, cast. Several laugh-out-loud moments.

The Number 23 : Daft but watchable. Similar to The Secret Window.

Clerks 2 : A little unnecessary, but not a totally unwelcome sequel.

Air Force One : Nicely structured action film but a rather dull performance from Harrison Ford.

Pink Panther Strikes Again, has some great comedy moments but not the best in the series

A Clockwork Orange, amazingly strange film who's main character (Alex DeLarge) sounded like Eric Idle!

Mad Max Beyond the Thunderdome, wtf seems to describe it well, was okay but no where near as good as i thought

Dirty Harry: Dead Pool, great ending to a great series.

Phantom of the Opera, needed to watch it for my keyboard playing (wanted to try some Webber music) and it was actualy quite good.

1. Breakfast at Tiffanys - One of my faves on a rainy day
2. Pirates of The Caribbean - very enjoyable
3. Dirty Dancing - Patrick swayze, mmmm
4. Sleepy Hollow - was on Film4 last night, and another J Depp, but very good film
5. The Breakfast Club - on sale in HMV and i hadn't seen it in years. Was one of my first teen fave films, and still good to watch now

And i will be watching The Gift tonight on Film 4
