What's the difference in a bar, pub, grog, and lounge?

Do they all just mean bar.... they all kinda seem the same to me. Well except a couple of the lounges around here have dance floors.

More or less the same although I guess the environment could be assumed to be different. I personally view a bar as more of an American styled sports bar where there's an odd amalgamation of dancing, watching sports, and drinking going on whereas I view a pub or lounge as more of a casual drinking establishment. That's just me though.

I've only heard of the term grog in reference to the beverage of spoiled water and rum.
