The frequencies are different, so the International version only has 3G internet speeds overseas not in the US.

The US version has Higher Speed Internet in the US but not overseas.
If you need fast Internet on your phone and live in the US than you need the US variant.

that means that with either of the versions I can have internet in the US and in International countries. It would just be faster in the US with the US version and faster in the other countries with the International. Is that right?
