whats the difference between testing out of hs and getting your diploma ?

I wanna test out of high school but im not sure if thats the best option. I know its the best option for me right now but i dont know if it will be in the long run. What are the pros and cons of testing out of high school ? is there much of a difference do jobs even care ? im planning to start college right away if i do though. so whats best ?
