I want to go back to school to get a degree in Illustration/Cartooning. I want to gain some experience in the comics business because I think it would help me get my own comics nad distributed. As far as I know, you have to be a full-time student to intern at a comic book company- at least, that's the case with Marvel and DC. I don't know about other publishers. I want to contact Marvel and DC about apprenticelships, but what is the difference between internships and apprenticeships, or are they the same thing? Should I pursue either one if I want to get my own comics published and distributed? Please help me out-thank you.
