Let's use a guinea pig vehicle, a 2010 Chevy Silverado, with the LT trim equipped factory tint. And another vehicle say a 2005 Honda Accord with aftermarket tint. Since the Chevy pickup appears to have no evidence of somebody actually busting their butt installing the window film because there is no sight of film edges or the slight texture of window film. Also it looks more like a dark grayish with very light brown shade whereas aftermarket is more of a bluish violet. The 2005 Accord has aftermarket tint, which someone bust their butt installing the film. Now, is the factory tint actually built in the glass or is a special film?
