I know that one (MT) is higher up than the other. I was just on phone with a program but it was for Medical Lab Assisting, not Medical technology and they only offer in the areas of Phlebotomy. Which area would be the better choice? I do not see many jobs out there for medical lab assistants but I see MANY for medical technologist.
Also the medical lab assistant programs accept people with High school diplomas or GED's. I have a 4-year degree in biology. I dont want to settle for anything that will let people who have GED's get into the program (no offense). But you get what I mean.
