Random dude who was kicked out of both the army and air force and has a felony obscenity charge looming is the democrat nominee in south carolina.

But, but, but ... he's black. No need for the Democrats to properly vet (no pun intended) one of their own political candidates.

More to the point, how do you get to be a Democratic nominee AFTER being kicked out of two military branches?

The other guy raised like $100k and campaigned.

He has to feel like such a loser.

It's simple. People there were sick of the career politician. It's not surprising as incumbents on both sides have been getting hit hard. (although this guy is a nutcase which makes it a huge slap in the face for the other guy)

Greene's name was higher up on the list so boom, he gets the win.

There's something fishy about this guy. In that video, you can hear someone else talking and feeding Greene answers. Furthermore, success in politics requires charisma and the ability to speak well in public. This guy has neither. Plus, he's unemployed and lives with his parents. There's no way in hell he could afford the filing fee on his own. Someone is definitely putting him up to this.

And?
See the whole conspiracy theory thing falls apart when you look at the fact that even if someone paid his way onto the ballot, there was no campaigning, no advertising, NADA and he still won because registered Democrat voters didn't want the other guy that bad.

If you actually listened to Keith, he explains the the "voice in the background" ... it was his lawyer feeding him answers.

Interesting, in this interview at the 2:35 mark Smith asks who is in the room with him because Smith thinks he is being fed answers
