My girlfriend's birthday is coming up and she just got a new truck. I'd like to get her a new stereo, but I don't know anything about cars and especially car audio. Luckily, she doesn't either so I'm not looking for anything top of the line, just something to get the job done.
Can someone just cover exactly what I'd need and how much this would cost for a less than average to average setup? Any one that would make any white girl go "OOOOH SO LOUD COOL" is fine. Being a college guy I'm obviously not very high in the money department so I'm hoping to run no more than $150, is that even possible not including installation?
Forgot to mention, emphasis is on the bass here more than just being loud in general.
