different people will think different ages are acceptable, I personally think that age is irrelevant in a relationship, My best friend is currently going out with my guy friend who's 5 years older then her, lots of people are freaking out but does it matter? He is a sweet boy who wouldn't try to take advantage of her he loves her and she loves him I don't see a problem in that, As long as your guy doesn't try to push you I don't think you should care about the age difference ^^

People shouldn't make age rules for other people. Each person has to make their own rules for themselves and never try to force that rule on somebody else.
I would never date someone old enough to be my parent, but, I would never say that a woman who's husband of 25 years who is 22 years older than her that she is breaking some kind of sacred rule. Who am I? God never condemned age gaps between a husband and wife.
If a woman is married to a man 22 years her senior for 27 years and another woman is married to a man 3 years older and divorced after 4 years, which is the more valid couple?

Minors are bound to a lot of rules that normal people aren't bound to. For a minor 1-2 years is good.
