whats the better way 2 go for amps?

would it be a better idea to get 1 mono block for the sub and a 2 channel for the front splits or jst get a 5 channel!! does it make mcuh difference
 
personally i would go with a mono black and 2 channel for the fronts. this is because 5 channel amps are really expensive for what they do. The sub channel on those 5 channel amps is usually somewhere between 200 and 500 watts rms. Now if the amp fails, you just lost power to all speakers in your car. If you decide to upgrade one or the other at some point, starting with a mono and 2 channel would be best.
 
There are some really cool 5 channel amps out there.
Do you have 4 or 2 door speakers?

You asked about a 2channel amp, I just wanted to make sure that you have 4 door speakers and 1 sub.

Only bad thing about a 5 channel Amp is that if it blows you would have to replace an expensive Amp.

If you have a sub amp and a 4channel amp it would be cheaper to replace one or the other.

If you wanted to upgrade your sub later it would be easier to replace the Mono amp.
