I know I'm allergic to fish/shellfish, but I only get vertigo when I take a supplement that has iodine like fish oil. Maybe because there's more in it? Is there a specific test for iodine?
Yes, just like with any other allergen they can do a scratch test or patch test or even intradermal. Talk with your allergist for testing. I suggest the scratch test as it's less invasive and takes only a few minutes.
