I have a 1999 ford contour SVT that recently had a severe engine problem. The timing chain is done, the lifters are done, there are metal shavings in the oil pan, and it will no longer hold oil pressure. The car only had 108K on it and I babied it so much. Anyway, I need to part it out to get a little money out of the thing. Should I take it apart myself (probably dont have enough time for this) and store the parts to sell them individally or, should I sell it to a wrecking yard and get just a little for it, or should I post it online and hve people contact me? I know some of the parts on these cars are valuable because they are very rare and hard to come by such as the bumpers.
