What's the best way to move fish from an established aquarium to a new aquarium?

I have about ten tropical fish in a 12 gallon aquarium that has been established for a little more than two years. I recently purchased a 25 gallon aquarium and have let it run with water (but no fish) for a week now. How should I begin transitioning the fish from the old aquarium to the new one?
 
Fill your new tank with some old tank water and let it cycle through using a used filter cartridge so that all the good bacteria is built up, etc. About 24-48 hours if good for this purpose. Then transfer the fish as you would when you first bought them home from the store.
 
Make sure you add a lot of the old water, water the fish are used to will help them and it will help with the good bacteria etc in the tank.
 
Hey, the way i transfer fish is this, your put about 1 or 2 fish in a bag with the water from the tank they are in now. then once all the fish are in a bag tie the bags up with a twist tie or something like that. then place the bag in the tank u are going to put them into. after the bag is sitting there for about 5-10 mins take the fish out of the bag and place them in the new tank. Do not dump the water in the bag into the new tank. fish the fish out and then place them in the new tank that should work.

Fill a plastic container with water from the old tank and let it float on the surface of the new water. Put one fish in it and let the temperature of both bodies of water get the same, then pour the lot into the new water.
Repeat fish by fish.
 
transfer 75% of the substrate into the new tank add some new plants to the new aquarium and put in the old filter media into the new power filter. add the water from your old aquarium and slowly add the fish to the new aquarium I would do this in a matter of 48 hrs or more so the bacteria colony can get started in the new tank and your fish won't go through shock
 
Remove some water (half if possible) from the new cycled tank and place some water (equal to the amount taken out) from the old tank, if you can, use the old filtration system from your previous tank, then transfer the fishes from there on =)
