I painted mine myself..
You'll want to remove all the parts first.
Then sand what you want to paint down to its base coat. Dont go as far as the metal.. Use a pretty light paper, you want it as smooth as possible..
Spray a layer of primer on. Dry. Sand smooth, Repeat about 5 times, untill its completly white.
Spray your paint on. Repeat the same steps as you did for the primer.
Make sure you keep the can a good distance away when you spray, otherwise it will be uneven.
It will also take loooong, so alternativly get it done proffessionally
