my natural hair color is a color very similar to the Dark Chocolate color. what i want to do is turn it redder and lighten it to Roasted Coffee.
i've dyed my hair the Roasted Coffee color, but it didn't change at all, except that you could see a red tint when the sun hit it. then i tried dying it Chocolate Peanut butter and it got closer to the color i want, but not light enough. i've been doing some research and i've found that whenever people try to lighten their hair at home it just turns red. but i want mine redder. i'm considering just getting a darkish blonde box and dying my hair with it and seeing how it turns out. my friends think that this is a really bad idea. is it? will it make my hair fall out? and if i like it, how do i keep my hair that color?
