What's the best way to argue a ticket?

Do I act confident and argue my side a lot, or do I take what is said, make a small argument, and don't pursue the rebuttal?

Also, should I wear a suit or would a nice shirt and khakis work?
 
Don't be cocky. Be calm, state your argument clearly, and if there is a rebuttal then respond to it in the same manner.

Focus on the facts and the law. Don't introduce extraneous arguments. The question is whether or not you violated the law as it is written. Nothing else matters.
