Whats the best wax or cleaner for 1098?

Use what the exotic car lovers use - Zymol, PS1, Meguiars. If your bike is new, avoid the waxes with cleaners as they are abrasive. You can but won't be able to wax every month as I'm sure you'd like to do. Better yet, get a three step process from Meguiars. Then you can choose when to use the cleaner. I like a Carnauba based wax - made from natural Brazilian waxes - has no abrasives and smells great. In after a a few hundred miles when your bike gets some dirt it might be wise to use a clay bar to remove gently some contaminants picked up from the road before waxing. Have fun on your new baby.

Zaino is the way to go. It's a show car polish and I use it on both my Formula Firehawk and my 1098. It actually builds up in layers and provides a protective coating. The more layers you have the better it looks. When I had an idiot hit the front end of my car the detail shop had to get that stuff off and it took them several hours to get the polish off so they could repaint the car.
