whats the best T-mobile android based smart phone?

i'm due for an upgrade as of today. i don't know what phone i should get. i was thinking about the nexus one but for the 180$ discount apparently you have to cancel your number and resign? or pay 280$ with existing account. if there's no way for me to get ahold of a nexus one, is there any newer better phones coming out for t-mobile in the next couple days or week. i was also thinking of the mytouch or cliq. i would like some details on the phones because i won be getting another one for antoher 2 years
