What's the best route to pursue a career in Zoology/Wildlife Rehabilitation?

I currently have enough UCAS points to gain entry to university, although none of my A-Levels are in science, so not sure if I would qualify for either a biology or zoology degree.

Also, does anyone know whether these degrees can be studied via distance learning? I'm in the UK.
