Hi
My 1999 Corolla is a 1.3L, and I am just trying to get my engine breathing better.
As you may know, there is an air temp sensor plugged into the stock airbox. I have seen people fitting induction systems and simply taping this down near the intake. (If there is nowhere on the system to plug this). Would this be appropriate?
I noticed that the K&N 57i-9001 would be ideal, however the little pipe coming from the engine (I think it's called the engine breather) cannot be connected to the supplied fittings. Any way around this?
I know that it's really 1.6L engines that most kits are made for, I just really want to get rid of that restricting stock airbox.
Any suggestions of makes or models would be really well appreciated.
Thanks so much!!!!
