I'd like to know the average car insurance for a NEW driver, at the minimum pass age (15 is that in the US?). Obviously, I mean for just an average old car, and I realise it might be different across different states, so just give me your state. I just wondered if it's much different to UK prices. If you're interested, for a newly qualified 17-24 year old, it's about £1000-£1700 for your first year, depending on whether you're male or female.
