What's the angriest/heaviest song you've ever heard?

One of the heaviest songs I've heard would probably be Whirlwind- Verdict of Vengance. It's probably the heaviest/deathiest I've gone into metal. =/

Nothing is wrong with James Hetfield, that comment was aimed at the people who started listening to Iron Maiden then Metallica... then never really moved on from there.

Hatfield is always a good bet for anger, but I don't know about the other two.
'Heavy' may have an element of sadness or reflection that would make it slow
and brutal, whereas 'anger' tenRAB more toward unreflecting rage, I think.
But too much rage begins to be unmusical.

Thrash metal could be the ideal vessel to carry a musical mixture
of both sadness and rage, such as in Annihilator's 'All For You'.
I especially like the bass line in this:

Cannibal Corpse - Frantic Diserabowelment
All Meshuggah Songs(apart from their brutal progressive music, the vocals are killllllerr!!!!)
Cryptopsy - Graves of Fathers
Nile - Unas the Slayer of GoRAB

caged in a rage by pantera, check it out on youtube. I would post the link but it says i have to post at least 15 times to do so. dont know why, but whatever, ill just have to wait until i get 15 posts.

actually du hast means you have and not you hate.
du hasst means you hate, but that's not what they are saying anw.
and yes this is a disgustingly bad song!!!:bonkhead:

Err right...some interesting suggestions here

but as far as anger goes there really is no band whatsoever that were angrier than CRASS

have a listen to the Feeding of the Five Thousand album...read the lyrics to REALLY understand the depths of and reasons for their anger. (probably makes more sense if you were about in the UK in the eighties of course)
