I haven't seen this cartoon in many years but I vaguely remember it. As I recall, it's a narrated funny-history of human civilization from caveman time to the present (which would have been the 30's, 40's, or 50's, I'm not sure when it was made). It might even go into the future but that might be a different cartoon. It's really dry sort of humor. The only specific line I remember is when the narrator says something about "...the invention of the boomerang."
