im planning on saving for and building either an electric or gas powered bicycle for until im 16 in 3 years. i understand that electric bicycles are environmentally friendlyer compared to gas,and faster off of a stop. but kits are expensive(in the $300-$600). for a gas bike i need to strip the motor from an old weedeater, or buy a motor seperate. it would be cheaper, but in my understanding,slower.which would be better for me to build?
