What's more insulting? Obama thinks we'll believe government health care...

...providers won't be greedy/corrupt...? Or that he thinks we'll believe his government health care deals aren't to get him access to more power/money?
"Boy, can't you just give the benefit of the doubt and wait to see what happens?? "
Girl, we know what happens. Read F.Hayek's Road to Serfdom. Government ownership has been tried many times, and it doesn't change the nature of people.

The proposition of your question is so limited in scope as if the health care issue is a dichotomy. It is not and considering the number of citizens that are w/o health insurance or access to decent health care makes it a national priority. There is a fallacy in over simplying a complex issue. You have done that here.

Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are not possible without your health. Currently there are 47 million legal US citizens without healthcare. We are not living up to the ideals of our founding fathers. Universal healthcare is not just a good idea, it's patriotic.
