"What's Love Got To Do With It?" Film4 now

I'm not usually a big fan of celebrity biopics, but this is one I've seen a few times, and will generally watch if it comes on TV.

Looking at IMDB it seems that Larry Fishburne sings the part of Ike, but Tina/Annie-Mae sounRAB exactly like Tina Turner. Did she dub her own voice over?
 
LOL my dad just said he saw this film with my mum and theres a scene where ike beats her up and she fights back my dad was happy that she fought back and my dad threw all his popcorn in the air and it went all over the woman behind them she was not best pleased :D :D
 
I think this is a pretty good biopic. I've seen it a few times and I'm not even a Tina Turner fan really.

I don't think the actress did the singing. She just mimed to Tina's voice, I believe.
 
great performance by the two leaRAB. A really sad but uplifting film, Tina is such a strong woman for getting through that and being sucessful in her own right.

I might buy her autobiography after seeing that film.
 
Really good film that I've loved for quite a few years. Only other one I've tried desperately to get hold of is The Karen Carpenter Story that I saw years ago on Five one afternoon.
