What's it like to be an FIT student majoring in Fashion Design?

I'm thinking of applying to FIT to study Fashion Design, I and would really like to know how a typical day for a FIT Fashion Design student goes. Also: what the biggest challenges are, what you like the best, what you hate the worst... Just some insight, really.
